Your trust matters more than any feature. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect and why.
Who we are
This policy explains how Crypteller ("we", "us") handles personal data when you visit our website or use the Crypteller application. We are responsible for the personal data described here.
What we collect
- Account data — your name, email address and login credentials (passwords are stored hashed).
- Exchange connection data — the API keys you connect, stored encrypted, and account details the exchange returns when we verify a key, such as its account identifier and permissions.
- Trading data — the bots and strategies you configure, and the orders, fills, balances and fees the exchange reports for them.
- Billing data — your plan and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we do not see or store full card numbers.
- Messages — what you send us through the contact form or email.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information and server logs needed to run and secure the Service.
How we use it
- To create and run your account and your bots, including placing orders on your exchange account.
- To process subscriptions and payments.
- To answer your questions and send important service messages.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To improve the Service using aggregated, de-identified information.
- To meet legal obligations.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running a secure and reliable service, your consent where we ask for it, and compliance with legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Your exchange (Binance) — to verify your key and place, track and cancel your orders.
- Service providers — hosting, databases, email delivery and payment processing, each bound to protect your data and use it only for us.
- AI providers — the market-analysis feature sends market data such as price charts; it is not designed to send personal data.
- Authorities — when the law requires it, or to protect our users and the Service.
How we protect it
API keys are verified with the exchange and stored encrypted. Access to production systems is restricted, and data travels over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so please also protect your own accounts with strong passwords, two-factor authentication and trade-only API keys with withdrawals disabled.
How long we keep it
We keep account and trading data while your account is open. When you close your account we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, unless we must keep some of it longer for legal, tax or accounting reasons. You can disconnect an API key at any time, after which it is no longer used to place orders.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To use these rights, use our contact page. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage that are needed to run the website and application — for example to keep you signed in and remember your settings. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or other optional cookies, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.
Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The latest version will always be on this page with its "last updated" date, and we will tell you about significant changes.
